I love eating these. They are oh so good! Yup

I have tried many different wing sauces before, but the best way I have found to do this is as follows.

First, you must pick out the largest, freshest chicken wings you can. One package will go nicely in a glass baking pan. You can do one, two, three, or even four pkgs/pans at a time.

Preheat oven to 350°.

Place chicken wings in glass pan(s), making sure to allow each wing to be exposed. Then, place each pan uncovered in the oven. Arrange the rack(s) so as to keep the pan(s) in the center of the oven. Set timer for 30 minutes and get out a sauce pan.

I use Frank's RedHot sauce. I get it in the 24oz bottle. I mix it with butter.

If you are making 4 pkgs/pans of wings, use the whole bottle, along with 4 sticks (one pound) of butter. For each pkg/pan of wings, use a stick of butter, and 6oz (1/4 bottle) of RedHot.

So... depending on how many pkgs/pans of wings you are doing, take the right amount of butter and melt it in the sauce pan on low heat. Once the butter is melted, pour in the right amount of RedHot sauce. Stir over low heat for several minutes.

When the timer goes off, remove the pans from the oven, and turn the heat down to 225°. And get out a basting brush.

Baste this sauce onto the chicken wings until the sauce is all gone. You should end up with a very thick amount on each wing, and some that has run under the wings, so they are somewhat swimming/soaking in sauce.

Next... get out the tin foil. Cover each pan with the shiny side facing in. Make certain that the edges are sealed very well, so that no air can escape the pans. You want these wings to steam themselves to tender perfection.

By this time the temperature of the oven should be down. Place the covered pans back into the oven, and let them cook for a couple hours.

Once these are done, you should be able to inhale the meat right off the bones! Happy

Make sure to pour all the fat/sauce in the pans over the saved chicken, when putting away in containers for the fridge. This sauce will taste so good on the reheated chicken.

Enjoy!

Sunny

Sounds good, I will try it.

I never thought of using butter.
