Summer is comin'. Do you know where your eating/exercise is going?
Now's the time to let go of those bad habits and focus on the prize in the sky. Keep your eye on it.
Don't miss this trip. It's gonna be a good one.
Turn on, tune in, drop out... and don't forget to write.

I'm going to TRY (will) and avoid alcohol the month of June.
I have visitors the first weekend of June... big beer drinkers comin' from the northeast, but I will be brave!!!
other than that...
stick to my WOE which has been very beneficial in the continued progress of my good health...
a fish taco once during the month.
a plate of jalapeno poppers with company.
a dill pickle once in awhile
eggs here and there
and then of course my fat, protein and water!
Miriam, good to see you posting here! _________________ "Failure is an opportunity to start again more intelligently." |

I would like to weigh under 200 pounds in June...I am 205 right now.
I will continue to enjoy some produce from my garden in very small amounts, and eat lots of protein and good fats. Not weighing myself daily has helped a lot.
I will also continue bike riding and lifting weights and crunches and push-ups.
So there. _________________ Flap-a-doodle-kick-a-poodle-kitty-kitty-cow-cow ~ Fat Freddy's Cat |

Personal June Challenge Goal:
I am going artificial sweetener free!
Continue keeping my carbs >10, Fat <70%.
Restrict calories, but not sure of how low I can go without triggering desperation. Probably about 1500.
Start exercising again.
I just had a freaking can of diet coke. That stuff is going to stall me.
Oh well, back in track...
Have not posted my meals, but have been the same. Scramble eggs and pork chops.
I finally went grocery shopping and got some good meat cuts. |

I'm in! My goal for June is mostly just to stay the course.
Allowed foods:
All meat and fat
All seafood
Seasonings
Water
I'm also considering adding one or more of the following items - I'll experiment their impact on me one at a time:
Cheese
Olives
Nuts
I'm also going to be replacing salt with NoSalt
Exercise goals:
Official workout a minimum of 2 days per week to include weights and Interval training. Some form of activity all other days.
I would like to lose 10 lbs in June
Onward and forward! |

My goal is to eat Zerocarb, and post more often. I didn't do very well with posting last month.
Current weight 136, height 63"....goal 125lb.
My real end goal is better health and less self criticism.

Hi Lynne and Jeff.
Okay, I am going to be so good this month. Meat, fat, water, decaf, a cocktail once in a while.
No more white wine. I like it too much.
I have lost two sizes since the beginning of the year and 15 pounds. But I didn't even think about the size I lost before zero.
So since last year I am three sizes down. That is so cool.
Now I just have to lose the rest of the fat on my body. I am a small frame so anything extra just really shows. _________________ zero carb |

Hi everyone! I have not posted for a couple of days, and I am feeling the attraction of the peanuts, the fake cereal and the diet coke.
I am still eating low carb, but have bee indulging in the frankenfoods.
Today:
3 coffees with cream
scramble eggs, cheese and butter
hand full of nuts
a few bites of steak ( guest I will be saving it for later)
diet coke
I have started exercising, need to setup an organized program. |

I ran 4 miles yesterday. I timed myself for 3 miles at exactly 27 minutes. I felt like I could have maintained that pace for quite a while, which is good, because that is just about the pace I need to do my half marathon is 2 hours. _________________ Eat, Drink and Be Merry, For Tomorrow We'll Die |

Food
Salmon
chicken thighs
cauliflower soup
jalapeno poppers
stuffed mushrooms

Exercise..crunches...
I have not had alcohol for 40 days in a row...
I still have a crappy job..and my back and ankles hurt a lot...not sure quite how to deal with that. I used to just get drunk after work...that made the pain go away.
I don't know if I have lost any weight this week..I probably have not been eating enough.
I am done complaining now..so there..

company is gone.
i enjoy company....
but not their habits.
this friend was drunk when she arrived on Thur night and left drunk yesterday...
i watched her slam down about 12 beers a day.
i watched her eat bags of chips, sweets that were wrapped in saran wrap from 7-11....
i watched her take pill after pill to keep her digestive system working..
i was waiting for her liver to explode...
but watching her eat made me more aware of my own eating.
i don't have to take any pills...
although one day i made a bunch of mexican food for company with meat and cheese in it and i think the cheese did me in pretty badly..
i rarely eat cheese and it impacted me so badly i had to take one of her pills...
other than that, i kept close to my own eating..
i did have a couple of beers each day.
i am just really, really glad that i know what works for my body to run efficiently and without any medication..
that's all i need to know.
so food has been beef & water
couple of beers each day.
now that company has gone, i will be back to proper nutrition. _________________ "Failure is an opportunity to start again more intelligently." |

I had Bear's chicken recipe for dinner tonight. I had 4 thighs. That's all I had all day. I also went for a 6 mile run. _________________ Eat, Drink and Be Merry, For Tomorrow We'll Die |
