My name is Rich and I have been reading the forum for about a week now and decided to join.
I have been trying to low carb for a few years on and off.
Finishing up Bears thread and I have gone carnivore, 3 days now.
I just cut out diet soda and artifical sweetners, still have my coffee and cream though.

Thanks for the welcome everyone
Jamie, it has been only 4 days for me, I have replaced them with water and plain ice tea I brew from tea bags (old school ) and I put a half of a lemon in the pitcher. |

I'm old school too. The iced tea idea never occured to me. I will have to do that. I had gone a week without a diet pepsi and then yesterday when I was out and thirsty I could not find a decent bottle of water anywhere. I absolutely dislike Dasani and Aquafina which is what the stores I looked in were selling so I got a regular diet pepsi. I could not even find a decaf DP.
After I drank it while waiting for the bus to take me back up the mountain my heart started racing from the caffeine. |

| I am lucky that caffeine never bothered me. I can have a cup of coffee at 10pm and be asleep a hour later. |
