I started walking on the treadmill in the middle of January, 2006. Could barely walk 5 minutes to start. I was out of shape.
Started meat and egg diet March 1, 2006. Continued walking and started running for one minute at a time if I could.
Only started running more than a few minutes at a time near the end of April and found it easier to run outside.
Less than four months later.
Ran a half marathon August 13, 2006.

This is both amazing and mind-boggling. Just know that all of us here are very proud of you. You are a real inspiration!
Is there any advice you would give someone starting out? |

| To start out I would say, stay consistant, even if you only take small steps and always keep focus on your goal, also don't be afraid to move past your comfort zone, especially in your mind. |

Good points, Heather. I read on some exercise web site, where they said that in order to really improve, you have to go beyond your comfort zone. From my own experience, I know this to be true.
