These aren't recipes but they are really tasty.
First is Laotian sausage. I grew up on this stuff as a kid. It's amazing. I don't know where you can get it. My mom get's it for me (she has friends get it for her) so maybe an asian food store. They're long tubes of sausage, with some spiciness, lemongrass and garlic. Sooo fatty and juicy. We used to eat this plain, with rice, or in soups.
Second is something I'd never used before recently, but highly recommend purchasing. Herbes de Provence, it was completely worth the extra money. I'm usually pretty cheap on my spices, but this stuff is like catnip for humans. Think about the best smelling italian food you've ever smelled and (minus the tomato) it's coming out of this bottle of herbs.

Heather, it's in the glass bottles by the rest of the herbs at the grocery store, but i've noticed that some stores do not have it. Good luck, I hope you can find it! _________________ Make yourself happy, don't rely on anyone else to do it. Be your own best friend. |

No, it's not a liquid, just a glass bottle that has dried herb bits.
Here's the brand I use, and a pic:

Okay, thank you for the picture, that makes much more sense now. I still haven't seen it, maybe at a larger grocery store with a larger spice section? _________________

Save yourself a bundle of money, don't buy herbs, spices and blends at the supermarket or Wal-Mart type places.
They're cheaper, fresher and so much more flavorful at:
Health food stores (in the bulk sections)
Ethnic grocery stores (Asian, Hispanic, Mediterranean, Indian. The bigger the grocery, the better your chances of finding fresh, plentiful cooking ingredients)
Not necessarily cheaper, but fantastic flavor and quality from:
