Just a little introduction here. I began Atkins in 2003. I don't think I was all that serious about it at the time although I did lose about 30 pounds in 2003. Then I got careless and gain back about 15 pounds. Beginning January 2008 I got totally serious about losing weight and controlling as much as possible my blood lipid profile. I wasn't going to take statin drugs. I lost about 25 pounds doing Atkins by the book but by June the weight loss was extremely slow and I still about 15 to 20 pounds to lose. It was then that I found zero carb. I read all I could find about it. I didn't really want to go completely meat and water but As I kept dropping things from my diet that didn't seem to agree with me I soon found myself at just eating meat and drinking water. The exception is one cup of decaf coffee in the morning. There is still a tremendous amount to learn and I take every chance I get to learn more. That has all led me to the Magic Bus Ride!
