I found this forum through another forum, lcf where I usually just read and comment only once in a while.
I've noted some hostility on the other forum and was looking for a more civil place to discuss eating and nutrition.
I currently eat lowcarb and gluten free and workout 2-3 times per week, with weights.
Hope to learn some new things.

Hi Lauren, and welcome aboard the Bus. Glad you found us. It will be great to have a physician here. I'm sure we can all learn alot from each other.
You'll find the Bus a very friendly place. We don't even know what hostility is around here.  We also have quite a few members who are into various types of exercise.
Looking forward to learning more about you and following your progress toward your goals.

No hostility here, just friendly discussions.
We've all been victims of hostility on other Forums, some of us have even been banned from those Forums...how much more hostile can one get?

It's about time we had a doctor on board. 
I hope you are like that doctor in Fear and Loathing.  
Yah, this is a friendly bunch, alright. 
Help yourself to some Kool-Aid at the back of the Bus and enjoy the trip.

I think many of us have experienced hostility in one form or another at other sites. People just seem to think they have all the answers, huh? I hope you feel right at home.
