Hey, LCers! 
My name is Kathy and I'm a Single Stay at Home Mom, age 48, been LCing for over a year now, have lost about 40 lbs but still need to lose about 60 more. Like many of you, I've yo yo'd and tried so many different diets. We have Diabetes in our family, and eating LC definitely makes me feel better!  I realize that this is not a quick fix, that I'm not perfect and probably going to make mistakes.. but I'm not quitting.
I have my 30 yr Reunion this summer and would like to be skinny again like yesterday! If you have any tips ... please send them my way! I'm looking forward to getting to know y'all! 
BTW, I've always preferred sitting in the back of the bus.. can you save me a seat?

Kathy,
 to the Bus! 
The only rule about what you can eat on the Bus is that you can only eat naked ground beef from Walmart.
Oh, wait!  That's on another board! 
Sorry.
At the back of the Bus, I know they have lots of rituals about what you can (and, if you're handcuffed, can't) eat.

Here, Kathy... be careful with this first one. It's a bit disorienting if you aren't used to it.
If you want any more, Shawn just dropped off a huge batch of kitchen clean at the back of the Bus.

If it's working for you, then it's fine. If not, then you'll need to make some cuts.

When I moved to this small TX town (population around 20,000) about 4 yrs ago-- one of my requirements was that it had a Walmart and a good grocery store. Well it does have both. The first week I was here, DD/Kelsey/then age 10 & I headed to the local Walmart to soak up some local TX culture and shop. When we got there... buttloads of cop cars-- and a NAKED man was surrounded by shopping carts on the front sidewalk. It seems that he went running through Walmart in his birthday suit!! OMG... I moved from the city to the small TX town-- and look what happened!   |

Thanks, Kathy. Going LC and then ZC are 2 of the best decisions I've ever made. No regrets whatsoever. My only regret is that I didn't discover them 30 years sooner!
