I'm in, now I just need to visit everyday.

My goal is to stick to my eating plan and take my vitamins everyday. My food is eggs, chicken, salmon, beef, lamb, butter and condiments. I'm not worrying about diet pop for now.

My goal is to tick to my plan for the whole month.  Which is to up the fat and lower the protein similar to the optimal diet. Brief description below.

The diet was hatched in Poland some 40 years ago by Dr. Jan
Kwasniewski, who started developing it while working as a dietician
for a military sanitarium in Ciechocinek, Poland. There he observed
that many of his patients were sick, "not because of any pathogenic
factors . . . but the result of one underlying cause -- bad
nutrition," according to his English language "Optimal Nutrition"
book. After experimenting on his family and himself, Kwasniewski
concluded that the ideal nutritional combo came from eating three
grams of fat for every one gram of protein and half a gram of
carbohydrates.

Good luck Rich. I tried Dr. Jan's plan but the counting drove me nuts and getting the carbs in played havoc with my metabolism. So now I'm doing Dr. Jan's diet without any carbs, so basically carnivore, and it's working for me.

If you can stick to the proportions, it's a good plan.

SmileyCentral.com Hooray Lynn. I know this is hard. Seems like everywhere puts chips and salsa down on the table now a days. Bravo!
Hello Rich, I do the same as Katie and am interested to see what you eat and how that works. I love plans!

Thnaks I think after some time I will be able to know what is what as far as ratios.  if I stay away from sugar I do not get cravings as i plan on keeping carbs around 50-70.

I think my problem is too much protein..One of the reasons why i keep falling off the wagon is I eat high fat and super low carb and I gain wight but my protein is was high as well.

Day 7

Food
chicken
chicken salad
coffee with half and half
"lasagna"
yogurt

Exercise, 15 mile bike ride, work...not feeling up to weight lifting yet..a bit worried about my wrist.  I bought some wrist wraps today though and will try those out in a few days.

Have not been exercising much in the traditional sense..and I am working 6 days this week and super busy with other stuff...I need to make time to exercise though...and stop making excuses..

so there! Bonkers

Most of us can get away with not eating at all for a few weeks so relax.
Starvation mode is blown out of proportion in low carb community.
You are eating daily. You are fine

Runningdog....She's having too much sex/love/fun to think about food.

Me, on the other hand, have been a baaaad puppy. We had a Sukkah hop last night and there was no meat to be found. Also-Vodka was forced upon me! so :
Food Day 7:
Blush
Meatballs-lunch

At the Sukkah hop:
onion soup, tortillas baked crunchy and vodka
Pasta with meat sauce and vodka

yes I felt like crap upon awakening. never again. Coffee and water have helped. I had beef to make me feel more human this morning.

i weighed less this morning, but I know It will catch up to me.
