Hello everyone
My name is Lynn and I live in Ireland. I have travelled a lot but was born and raised here. I am 28.
I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2002 and used a LC plan of about 60-80 carbs to get rid of the 35lbs I had suddenly ballooned up in a year. Prior to this I had no weight issues. I lost the weight and kept it off for two years. Then in September 2005 my ex fiancée and I broke up due to his drug addiction. I fell off LC and binged on crap for six months. I restarted low carb in July 2006 but only lost 14lbs. I have been stalled since May 2007. I can maintain on anything from 20 carbs to 80 carbs but I cannot lose. So I went and got my hormones checked and found out the stress of the break-up had caused me to become hypothyroid. Unfortunately my body is the very sensitive kind so my thyroid meds have to be added in much more SLOWLY than most others. Ultimately this means it will take six months for me to get to my desired thyroid dose rather than the three months it takes most people.
I am now on a VLC plan and really like the lack of hunger. I long for weight loss but am trying to be patient.
Currently I eat:
Chicken wings and drumsticks and thighs
Rib eye steaks
Lamb chops
Pork chops
Shrimp
Hamburger
Butter
Cream
Cheese
Decaf Tea
Hot sauce
Garlic
Herbs and Spices
One serving of veggies daily
I am trying this regime for a further two weeks. If no weight loss I am switching to ZC without the daily serving of veggies.

Hey Lynn!! It's me...y0u! Welcome aboard...Lot's of really nice folks here. Not judgemental in any way, very very supportive..and a bit crazy..but that's why I fit in so well. 
Watch out, Dean will try and get you to drink the Kool-aid and offer to give you a tour of the back of the bus!!  ...

Nice to be here. I like non judgemental. I find I am always being judged by the ZC'ers for not being ZC enough and the LC'ers for not eating enough veggies

So glad you could join our little crazy carnivore clan. 
Despite what y0u thinks, I would never try to get anyone to drink the Kool-Aid. Of course, if you want to party at the back of the Bus, Shawn did just drop off a fresh kitchen clean batch.

Kool-Aid is what the Bus members drink. Like taking the red pill, it helps open your mind to this whole Carnivore thing.
