We evolved for a very long time eating only animal food. Basically, everything else in our modern diet is suspect. We hunted our food for millions of years, and did not start gathering or farming till very recently. We have not had time to fully adapt to non-animal food. By avoiding food which causes us problems, our bodies have a chance to heal and be normal. While we all recognize animal food as being essential to our health, each of us must figure out what non-animal food we can handle or may need. The Bus is about achieving optimal health through a paleolithic paradigm in nutrition and lifestyle.  
The Magic Bus Trip is a support site for Carnivores We are here to help each other achieve health and other life goals, and, perhaps, to have a little, or even a LOT, of fun during the journey. You are encouraged to post in that spirit in any forum on the Bus. Challenges to a carnivorous way of eating are not appropriate. Subjects which are divisive or distracting from the main purpose of the board will not be tolerated. Posts containing content that is potentially negative or hurtful WILL be edited or removed. Please strive to be positive and respect others. There is no place for flame wars on the Bus. If you notice any posts which violate these principals, please PM or email me. Also, there is no official health or medical advice on this board. If you need that type of advice, please seek it elsewhere. It is strongly recommended that you check out any health issues before changing your diet or exercise. Ultimately, Bus members are not responsible for your health... you are. Thanks for being here! And, when you think you're ready for a really wild ride, head to the Back of the Bus 
Since the Bus is such a friendly place, our members typically use their first name or a nickname as their username. If you are not using yours, and would like to, you can change your username in your Profile. Also, be sure to indicate your Birthday in your Profile. If you want to hide your age, you can always use the current year. When they arrive, Bus Birthdays will be displayed automatically at the bottom of the home page. That way everyone will know when it's your special day. You can switch the Black Lights ON or OFF! Whatever way you wanna trip!  Simply go into your Profile and scroll down to Board Style: (right above Timezone:). It's there that you will find the Black Light Switch. Set it to 1 to turn 'em ON, or 2 to shut 'em OFF. Be sure to click the Submit button once you have flipped the switch. Just remember, if you turn on the Black Lights, you should definitely partake in the Kool-Aid to get the "full effect".
