3 Day FastDean suggested this to me to help see if certain foods or supplements are causing my palpitations. I also feel like I need a "spring cleanse". I plan to do a water fast today (Friday) and use an apple cider vinegar cocktail (Bragg's Organic ACV with lemon juice and molasses) on Saturday, and then probably add my kombucha to that on Sunday. On Monday I'll transistion back to real food.
This is going to be really hard for me to do. I've done juice fasts before for 2-3 days but I found them really really hard. Of course, that was back when I was a carb addict, so maybe this will be easier.
Off to fill up my water bottle ...

I'm already hungry. I don't do well with any kind of restriction ... though I am used to IFing several days a week.

I would probably gnaw my arm off if I tried to go 3 days without eating. It's something I have no interest in doing.

Gazelle,
This is something I am building up to. It's a good idea to get used to fasting, and to go at it in stages. I plan on doing IF every day I can during April, and perhaps even do a one or two day water fast (or just see how long I can go) as well. What I really want to do is work up to a 10 day water fast. I am also wanting to do some "spring cleansing".

I'm having all sorts of weird emotional reactions to this. Sometimes I forget that I used to have a full-blown eating disorder and this is the sort of thing that brings back all those feelings and memories.
Dean, I like your idea of working up to it with IFing everyday and a one or two day water fast. I was just thinking that on my way home - I feel much better on the IF days so I wonder if maybe I should try to do that every day for awhile.
Maybe I'll start with that if this 3-day thing is too daunting/scary for me.
