Instead of subsidizing grain farmers, grass-fed livestock farming could be subsidized instead. The number of livestock per acre could be increased with this grazing method, not to mention the reversing of the climate changes that have been destroying our planet, thanks to the huge grain conglomerates of the world, like Cargill.
Looks like paleolithic eating and production of our carnivore food could be the answer to not only human health, but the health of the earth. After all, we are part of the earth, right? This is some really encouraging stuff.
I'm very interested in getting native grass bison and cattle ranching going on with our extended families' lands. Return the earth back to pre-grain farming practices, restoring the natural ecology of the planet. In the meantime, I would encourage people to find grass-fed sources of meat. Great way to help out the environment, as well as increase one's personal health.
