Bacon EXPLOSION!!!Ohhhh, people. People, people, people. I read about this piece of deliciousness a few days ago and thought immediately of you all In the time since then, it has been sweeping the blogosphere off its feet. Come to find out, the NY Times did a writeup of it only yesterday!
I do not think there are words that can properly describe the amazingness of this dish. To try would be but to fail miserably. In summary: 2lb bacon + 2 lb sausage =

Yum! Similar to the Bacon and Cheese Rollups. Looks good, except I'd leave off the BBQ sauce, of course.

Oh yeah, BBQ sauce would just get in the way! But maybe instead you could baste it with...dare I suggest...melted butter?

You know, that would be better with a mixture of ham, andouille sausage, and shrimp in the center, rubbed with cajun spices fried up in a cast iron skillet swimming in butter!
