How Many Days In A Row Can I Stick To My Exercise ChallengeI have GOT to start this Challenge! I seriously NEED it!
WAY too often, I have started an exercise regimen, and then drifted away from it. NOT this time!
On THURSDAY, APRIL 19, 2007 I DID exercise! That was my 1st Day back on track with daily exercising. I'm gonna keep track of how many days in a row I can stay true to my daily exercise regimen. I wanna see what kinda record I can set with this. I have an Exercise Log which I will be posting details in. But, I just need this Challenge to keep me focused on never missing even one day. Cuz, with me, when it comes to staying with exercising, missing even one day turns into missing one month real quick!
Perhaps this may be your problem as well. If so, I invite you to join me in this thread, and see if you can rack up a huge number of consecutive days of exercise. Cuz, once you get in the habit... in the groove... it is easy to stick to it.
If you MUST take a day off because your muscles need rest, that is one thing. But, be honest... are you taking the day off for this reason? Or is that just an excuse? If it's legit, then that still counts as a day you stuck to your regimen... cuz resting muscles, so they can grow bigger, is part of that regimen. As long as you are honest about it, keep countin' them days. This Challenge is just to get us focused on making sure we set time aside each day and make it a priority to exercise... no matter what that exercise may be.
So... here we go. I'm good for 1 Day in a row!
YAH!... here's to sticking to exercising for 1 Day!

6 Days in a row!
I didn't workout today. It was a resting day after Lower Body Resistance. My legs are pretty sore from that, as well as the HIIT and walks I've been doing. So, I'm building muscle today. I'll get back to tearing it down tomorrow.

Actually, no kidding at all, that is some of the most strenuous exercise there is... comparable to doing a bunch of calisthenics!

That's 4 WEEKS of continuous daily exercise. Only two days of rest in there. And, I'm gettin' stronger and leaner.

I'm joining you!!
Today is Day 1

Manaloa!
YOU CAN DO IT!
Since you are going through induction, if you feel really low energy, and just can't exercise, you can still count that as a "day in a row". But, be honest about it. If you have energy to do some exercise, DO IT! Figure out different exercise that you like, and do anything. I was only doing walking for my first days... I progressed up to more intense stuff. But, do what is right for your fitness level. Take it easy at first. The main thing is to STICK TO IT no matter what it is. Just GET INTO THE HABIT of daily exercise... make it a priority!
So glad you joined me!

Thanks Dean! I did notice that my bike ride this morning was more of a strain in my thighs, but I did it anyways. So Day 2 is done!!

That's your glycogen stores getting lower.

Well, they're about to get lower, because my daughter is joining me on my bike ride this morning.
That's Day 3 Yay!

Once your glycogen stores are depleted, which takes about 2-3 days, you can begin really burning the fat!

Awesome! Because I really really want to look good in this dress I bought to go to my husband's 20 year high school reunion and I'm trying to drop as much weight as possible.
I'm looking into some weight lifting workouts. I lifting weights, even waaaaay back in high school I was as into it as the guys (the girls just thought I was either nuts or trying to hit on the guys) I could even do more weight on the leg press thing then all the guys there. You know, the one where you recline and push your feet up on that platform thing?

Lifting would be good. It's a great fat burner. I'd also mix in a little cardio as well.

Went for another bike ride with my daughter. Does that count for tomorrow?

What day am I on? The days and times at the top confuse me.
Anyways:
Did a little biking yesterday, not much to speak of, because I was so tired that morning from not sleeping, then we had a HA meeting to go to. I'm planning on mowing the front yard now and then deep cleaning the kitchen, so I'm going to count that as my exercise for the day.

Dean, did you do your exercise today?
I lost my old whip, but I found this one on ebay. What do you think, should I bid on it?
Now, if I could just glue my face from my avatar to the top of that body, I'd be looking pretty good.....

Heather,
I hope you won the bid!
