Jacob's journalI'm starting over again today after falling off the wagon last night.
I'm hoping that zero-carbing will help me lose a bit of bodyfat. I went from 90 kgs to 66 kgs with low-carb, but I found it harder and harder to combat cravings and began to give in more and more regularly. I finally realised that it would be much easier if I just eliminated carbs completely.
My weight is currently 72 kgs at 170 cm. I eat around 2000 kcals per day, with a ratio of 30/0/70 (P/C/F).
I get plenty of exercise due to having an active job, I also do martial arts and lift weights.

How long have you been off the carbs, before last night?

I'd only been completely carb free for a few days. I'm determined to make this work though, I actually feel pretty good on this WOE, my cravings feel much less intense and I haven't noticed any significant drop in energy.
Unfortunately I was at a social event with my colleagues from work yesterday, and succumbed to peer pressure.

to Journaland, Jacob!
I find it difficult to lose body fat eating ZCarnivore (which is what I call it). I usually resort to using dairy, and the calories get really high in that case. If I eat only meat, it's too boring. I have no desire to waste time and money on veggies and fruit, but, eating lean meat and veggies and fruit keeps calories low enough to easily lose body fat, while still having a diet that is not so boring. It's a strange dilemma. Keep us informed on what you're trying. I'd be very interested in your reports.
See ya around.

Thanks for the welcome Dean
So far I don't find it boring at all, I find plenty of variety in eating different kinds of meat (beef, lamb, pork, fish, chicken etc.). I do eat 3-4 raw egg yolks per day, and sometimes a little butter.

Yum, I love variety!
Day 3-4 are usually the day your muscles will run low on glycogen and beg you for more.

Same here except I only eat beef and that's fine by me. Same cut almost every single day and I ain't the least bored.

Well, geez, I guess I've been eating for entertainment a bit, then. Maybe I should find another coping mechanism.
Or, perhaps I just need to find something else to eat.
