Just came out of hyperspace and landed hereNew to the Bus
My name is Travis. I am a Christian father of three (8, 5, and 3), husband of one (Almost 21 Years), will be the big 4O in Aug. As I get older some things get clearer and one of them is that our time is so short and my kids will be grown and gone so quickly. Also as far as diet goes I believe that the bane of our existence is carb intolerance that brings insulin resistance and leptin resistance, especially in the liver because when the liver goes I think a person can never control their blood sugar.
Some things I love are Family, my bible, triathlon, formula 1, golf, any event at the winter or summer Olympic games, middle weight boxing, mountain stages at the tour de france (any event where you can see pain, determination, and max effort at a level that I can’t really understand), Ribeye steaks and a really good cup of coffee.
My favorite tv show without question is Survivor.
Things I hate are vegetables (if it’s green keep it away from me), fish (gag), hyprocrites (and yes we all have been one at one time or another, but I am trying every day not to be that person), and trolls.

Actually my wife is already 40, what i meant by the almost 21 years was married 21 years....... but i still think of her as young

Travis....welcome aboard the Bus. I'm sure you'll find it very friendly and supportive. We do have our share of fun, as well. 
I have 3 kids as well....15, 12, and 8. They do keep you busy, don't they?
