Not really..I live in Oregon..In the town next to where he lived in for years. Our library has statues of him outside.
I went to go see his movie on campus many years ago "sometimes a great notion" with Paul Newman..and Kesey showed up on a whim and made a speech about it..I met him after the movie..I think I was in my early 20's.
