Thanks for the invitationI don't know who invited me here but thank you for the invite.
My name is Jaime. My nickname was Meredith over at the Active No Carbers forum but I don't post there much anymore.
I used to be lobstergal at lowcarb.org but I ended that membership long ago.
Is that the place you guys refer to as The Dark Side? It didn't look all that Star War-ish to me. LOL.

Hi Jaime. And a very warm welcome to you.
I remember your name from both sites.
The "Dark Side" is another Low Carb board.
I hope you enjoy it here. We are fairly small, but we are all good friends. If you ever have a question feel free to post it. If you have any good articles, feel free to post a link to it.
It's good to see you again.

Hello Jaime!
So good to see ya here. I remember you from ALC. You posted a lot in the paleo forum over there.
How have you been?
So glad you could join the party on the Bus!

I remember you from ALC as well Dean. I *did* enjoy the paleo forum there. I learned a lot about the way we should be eating from that forum.
Personally I have been fine....some things *could be* better in my life but I am not complaining....just taking things one day at a time. I am also going to be a first time grandmother next month. My oldest son's baby (a boy) is due on February 23 2007.
I noticed that a lot of you are cat lovers. I should post a pic of my Sylvester. He just turned 5 months old and is such a silly boy.
I helped deliver him...he entered the world breech and his mother was having a very hard time getting him delivered as he was her first.
He wasn't breathing when he came into the world but after a good towel rub he took his first breath after a few tense moments.
Again, thanks for the invite. I have been reading a lot since I got here this morning.

Jaime,
Congrats on becoming a grandmother!
And, YES! Please start your own photo gallery thread in the Photo Galleries forum and post Sylvester's pics! We'd love to see the little guy! I adore kittens!

Thanks.
He isn't so *little* anymore! LOL! I am amazed at how big he currently is for only a 5 month old. He has HUGE paws and is double the size of his sister 'Winks Winkerton' (who also lives with me until my oldest son and his gf move out and take her with them). I've been tempted to sit him on my scale to see what he weighs. I think he is close to 10 pounds or more, as he is very heavy when you pick him up.
I'll try to post what I have. They are blurry but that is my fault. I'm not too steady with my camera and I need to buy a tripod.
