What's in your fridge (and freezer)?I thought this would be fun.
I was just getting some pemmican out of the fridge, and thought, wow, to most people, they would be horrified with what is in our fridge.
This is what is in our fridge:
1 gallon OF WHOLE MILK (husband's)
1 quart of half & half (husband's)
2 lobster tails (on sale tonight for $6 each, and they are 14 oz each)
1# bag of pemmican (that alone would freak people out)
Assorted cheeses (husband's)
Ribeye steaks
Carton of eggs
Bacon
Large bowl of bacon fat
Smaller bowl of beef tallow
Breakfast sausages (husband's)
2 oranges (husband's)
Large jar of full fat mayo
A few condiments (ex: jar of pickles, ketchup, mayo that should probably be thrown away as we don't eat them anymore)
Several packages of lunch meat (husband's)
Our freezer:
Shrimp
Chicken
Steaks
Ground Beef Patties
Breakfast Sausages
2 Frozen raspberry packages (husband's)
Our cupboard is basically down to coffee and seasonings. Pretty bare.
Anyone else?

Since I live with four carb addicts, there's not enough room here to list what's in my fridge, freezer, cupboard.
Let's just say it's not a pretty sight.

Same here - although I only have one carb addict. I'm constantly fighting him for freezer room for my meats. Does one REALLY need 7 flavors of ice cream available at one time? Sheesh.

my son can be zero carb if i work it hard..
but since he's such an active kid, i allow him the carbs he requests.
those two pasta boxes were requested sometime around.....

Oh, how fun!
Dean:
What kind of lard do you have in your cupboard? I didn't know you could do that. I'm sure they used to do that back in the ole days.
I also never thought of putting butter in the freezer, does it affect the taste?
When I read "butter and wine" I thought
yOu:
I used to have a kombucha scobi!
LOL @ the something illegal and something rather not mention.
Lynne:
I thought it was interesting you listed the freezer first!
I don't know what srarachi sauce is.
Also never heard of mustard oil, do you make it yourself?
Jeff:
Of course you get leeway, you have a family, lol! I imagine your fridge/freezer would probably have less than mine. :)
Bobi:
Catfish nuggets sound good, how do you make them? Do you seaon them?
Thanks everyone!!

Jessica,
I always use butter and depending on the day...maybe onion and dill, or garlic and cayenne, or a hodgepodge of everything in my spice cabinet!!! Sometimes nuked, broiled, or baked.
