Ok..seriously..I have had wine the last 3 nights..and lots of it.  Also some sugar free chocolate candy..which my stomach and entire digestive track did NOT like..maltitol is evil stuff.

I told my man friend that I will not be drinking any alcohol for 2 weeks..and not to offer me any...I will be getting into the 160's by the end of next month dammit!

All right girls...GAME ON!!

I just started a huge crockpot full of beanless chili..5 POUNDS of meat in that sucker..Homegrown peppers and tomatoes..yum yum..lots of ground chuck steak and some extra 30% ground beef...should be good and fatty meattilicious!!  I have sour cream and cheddar to top it all off with..and a hungry man to help me eat it.

I had a makeuploveyoumommy fest with Athena my kitty last night.  She does NOT like man candy..or rather is extremely jealous of anyone that sleeps in HER mommys bed..how dare they!!  Man candy has been sleeping over all week and last night I made him go home cause I have to go to work this morning.  She cuddled and purred and drooled all night long..and this morning..at least she has not peed on his clothing..which in the past with man friends HAS happened..I am hoping she will warm up to him..she always been a mommas girl.

of note..I now wear a size 16 shirt..I used to wear an 18-20.

Ah...the competition! Your recipe sounds good. I'm putting some beef on now for it. Have the sour cream and cheese topping too. We have a week and two days, Can we do it? I say yes.

My time line is to be in the 160's by the end of NEXT month.  I cannot lose 7 pounds in 9 days..not safely anyway.

Mmmm...chili..it already smells good..but wait a few hours when I get home from work...oh yeah baby!!

It is in the crockpot..well most of it WAS..while I was at work.  I couldn't fit 5 pounds of meat in there along with the tomatoes and peppers and onions..so I just got home and transferred it to a bigger pot and added the rest of the meat..it will simmer for 4 more hours. Heart

It's a spicy chili!! Devil

How was yOur bean less chili? I'm making it today! I bought high fat ground sirloin and ribeye steaks to cut up. How small should I cut the meat up, and spices please? I bought chili powder, cumin, and a bunch of serranno, jalepeno and other mexican peppers that looked pretty. I think I have yOur technique down but could you put the recipe here....a million thank yOu's...

I use a box of Carroll Shelby's chili kit mix...it should be in the spice isle.

I just saute a few onions and a ton of peppers and then brown some ground beef..or ground steak.  I put chuck in my food processor slightly frozen in chunks..and did a medium mince...add the chili powder and some salt..some extra cumin seed ..a few bay leaves and a few tablespoons of cocoa powder(unsweetened)....and a few pints of jarred tomatoes..oh..I used 5 pounds of meat.  You don't need any other liquid besides the tomatoes...and simmer it for hours on end in your crockpot.

I added some extra chili powders I got at the hispanic market as well..

I also skimmed some of the grease off the top as well..it gets REALLY greasy otherwise..but you can save it to cook eggs in.

Ok...I stated this chili this morning using your exact instructions, and the whole house smells wonderful! It's simmering but I couldn't wait so I'm having some already...topped with cheese and sour cream. Scrump!

I have a barmitzvah to go to and this should be done by the time I get home, I never am able to eat the food at those things anyways.

MM...It was even great when I tasted it at the pre-tomato stage, you won't miss the tomatoes. Heart

Sounds like I'll be making chili too but without the tomatoes. Just the beef and then sour cream and cheese on top. Maybe I'll use ground pork.

Excellent idea Katie, I'm making your ribs and spice recipe in the crockpot tomorrow. They look like they will cook up tender. yummy fat...

I want to tell you I ate that chili at 10:30 am and it's 7:08 pm and I'm still not hungry. This is very unlike me. It must be the chili was so satisfying.\ with that cheese and sour cream topper. It was so delicious.

It's not my nature either y0u - and as much as it often results in things like this, I still think it's better. Better to speak your mind and suffer the consequences than remain silent with your thoughts  Yup

Hopefully he will be back soon, but I'm pretty sure that if he's not, an entire man candy assortment will be lining up at your door trying to catch a glimpse of the stocking clad beauty  Devil

Good here..got a lot done this morning and man candy is taking some good steps towards the "issues" we discussed the other day in our "talk"...

I am not pregnant and that is quite a relief..my period was a week late and scared the crap out of me.

Heater is broken in my condo..cannot afford to have it fixed and it's old anyway..so I am trying to find one of those oil filled radiators you plug in for cheap..so far I found one for $39..that will have to do..it was 39 degrees last night...glad I have man candy to keep me warm.

Hope to see man candy tonight and go to open mike down the street if he gets back from seeing his youngest son early enough.

I rode my bike today, did push-ups, and crunches..WOOT!

Sleep well pretty kitty, keep warm. We made a fire and pumpkin candles here in Laguna Tonight. Cozy.
