Well I had the sausage and eggs for brekkie and a McDonalds double 1/4 lber now cheese. Bun as holder.
Had stomach issues. Pain. I think the spice in the sausage was too much for me. The only spices I have been using are some sea salt (very little), pepper and occasionally green sauce if I make an omelet.
No dinner.
I'm having a steak for brekkie today. It sounds good and beef doesn't cause me issues.
I am bloated and feel fat. _________________ zero carb |

they are all trimmed so drastically of fat.
when i asked my butcher why the rib roasts were trimmed so badly he said that no one wants to pay for the fat. |
What I buy is labeled 'Mixed Chops' at the grocery store and it's the cheapest chop available. Essentially, they are different shapes instead of the standard curved bone - often they have the bone right in the middle and there is always a good layer of fat all around them. Sometimes you'll find an inch of fat around them. I guess they don't trim them so they sell them real cheap.
They brown up so nice and pork fat...mmmmmm |

Chicken wings with hot sauce and some blue cheese dressing

4 tbs butter
2 oz heavy cream
4 chicken wings
bleu cheese dip
Calories 1,539, carbs 2.9, 1% carbs,76% fat,23% protein.
Family get together for my Nephews 3rd B-day. Went to a pizzeria and they had wings on the menu...Yah!! I didn't eat the celery though, or have any beer.
I wasn't very hungry today. I did bad things last night, and paid for it today. It involved an old boy friend and lots of barley wine. hhmmmrrrph....bad combo indeed. _________________ Flap-a-doodle-kick-a-poodle-kitty-kitty-cow-cow ~ Fat Freddy's Cat |

Brekkie yesterday
Ribeye steak.
Lunch was two pork chops. That was at 3:00 pm so that became dinner as well. I'm loving the 8 hour spread between meals. This WOE has really stabilized my blood sugars. _________________ zero carb |

Brekkie today was two pork chops.
Now I have beef backribs in the oven with a little garlic powder, sea salt and pepper. Yum
Glass of white wine with my dinner, sounds good to me. Or maybe two.
I'm thinking of this as the drinking woman's diet.

I did that at a Pizza Hut once. I took my kids to all you can eat buffet night. When the waitress came to clear my plate there were about 8 empty crusts, with the toppings eaten off. She asked if everything was ok. I just said, "I'm doing Atkins, so I dont eat the crust." And she just said, "oh yeah, we get that quite a bit." So it was no big deal.
I think one of the hardest things to get use to with this way of eating is that we really don't need to care what others think of our eating. _________________ Eat, Drink and Be Merry, For Tomorrow We'll Die |

I keep forgetting to put in decaf coffee. Which I drink in the mornings.
Today brekkie, Ribeye steak. Seemed kind of small to me. Less than a pound. I might buy burger meat for tonight. Not sure yet. I did go hunting the other day and bought 9 pork chops (that's only 4 meals) and 4 ribeyes.
There was a bit of an issue at the store because I thought I bought the sale chops and mine were .40 lb more. I raised the question and the checker offered to get me the others that were on sale and I said no, that's okay.
Went out to my car and started loading food and here came the checker with: A FREE pkg of 8 more pork chops. I didn't want to take them but she insisted because they didn't want an unhappy customer. I really wasn't unhappy, just disappointed. I figured it was my fault because I didn't pick up the sale ones. Of course I couldn't find them in the pork dept.
My sister is also working on zero carb. Yippee! But she just eats until she is no longer hungry so a small steak (2/3 lb) lasts her two meals.
I on the other hand eat the whole steak all at once because I love food and like being full. _________________ zero carb |
