Day 13
12 oz beef short ribs
2 large fried eggs
1 tbs butter
2 oz heavy cream
2 slices bacon
1 avocado
Real caffeinated tea.
Calories 1,607, carbs 14.4, carbs 3%, fat 81%, protein 15%
Avocado went down good..no ill effects at all. May have to try that again.....I had that instead of a donut..which I really wanted after my booze binge last night.
Short ribs rock..I was sick of roast beef..needed a change today..now it's back to roast for the rest of the week. _________________ Flap-a-doodle-kick-a-poodle-kitty-kitty-cow-cow ~ Fat Freddy's Cat |

yesterday i had breakfast of roast beef slathered in butter.
dinner was 3 Miller Lites...
I too have been stalled since February..
my weight fluctuates between 1-3 lbs...
it won't drop further..
i hope you two get things moving better than my stall.. which has lasted over a month, now..
i have no idea why it won't drop, except that i do have beer here and there.. and that has to be my demise, although i don't understand if it's the only carbs i'm eating... that i should stall this long. _________________ "Failure is an opportunity to start again more intelligently." |

Bacon
Chicken Wings
Sour Cream
Pork Rinds
Hubby now has 4 different types of cookies laying around as well as a box of Krispy Kremes that he proclaimed he 'doesn't know why he bought them, they don't even look that good'. I could have killed him last night! The cravings were very strong and I was soo tempted but managed to make it through...phew. New day again.
y0u, did you just fry those wings up in a pan with the grease? Sounds scrumptious!
I can't even IMAGINE being close to onederland - hope you guys both make it soon! |

it really depends on how you like olive oil.
i can't stand mayo made with OO.
safflower oil is another staple for mayo in this house.
we have a habit of smearing something on our daily meat..
i have blue cheese butter in the fridge
and he loves his blue cheese mayo...
try it with the OO.
let us know how it comes out. _________________ "Failure is an opportunity to start again more intelligently." |

Thanks, Lynne. I have "Extra Light" Virgin Olive Oil because I use it for a marinade on my chicken. I'll let you know.
Today is Corned Beef and Cabbage Day! Everyone is Irish on St. Paddy's Day in America!!! I can see it now, 2.5 lb bag under each eye tomorrow morning!!! Ah well, it is really nice and fatty and the kids will love it, plus green Krispy Treats!!! _________________ Bobi

yes, do let us know how it comes out, Bobi...
Back in January when i was strict with my ZC, i lost 11 lbs and had this incredible energy.. so much energy i could have trotted across America without stopping.. and then February, nothing...
This past week, I've been speeding my ass off again.. that incredible energy where I could just fly without wings.. it's so amazing.. and then I got on the scales and I have dropped 4 lbs..
I'm wondering if the energy and pounds lost go hand in hand, because I didn't have this energy in February...
I'm not sure what to make of it. _________________ "Failure is an opportunity to start again more intelligently." |

The pounds lost is definitely a result of the expended energy, which is also equal to the lower weight=higher energy!!! It is all the result of increased metabolism and is a cycle!!
Does that make sense? It is early here, the sun isn't even up, but I was having my morning coffee by the pool, at the bar...under the MOON!!!...Talk about higher energy!!!
YAY for Lynne!!! _________________ Bobi

Losing weight and increased energy do go hand in hand. This means your insulin levels are low, so your body can easily tap iinto your stored body fat. This results in both an increase in energy and weight loss. _________________ Eat, Drink and Be Merry, For Tomorrow We'll Die |
