Hi Jeff,

I actually prefer the Saskatchewan Roughriders.  They don't mess around with coffee cups - they are all about the beer mug!

not exactly the course i was supposed to be maintaining...
but still the course i took..

what i have learned is that i cannot go completely ZC.
there are times when i want a sour pickle with my bunless burger....
or my cold beers..
and with summer coming upon us...  summer-beer just kind of go together..

food today:

pot roast
chuck steak
woost sauce
sea salt
2 beers (not LC beer)

Day 28

Food

3 eggs
2 oz ham
2 oz swiss
2 tbs butter
8 oz salmon
2 oz heavy cream
1 oz cracklings
1 cup raw broccoli
coffee

I am just eating broccoli this week because it is growing in the garden, and it's kind of nice to eat veggies once in awhile. When it's gone I will probably not eat much vegetation until something else grows in the garden. It's very sweet tasting and enjoyable for now.

Exercise..20 mile bike ride, 200 crunches, 60 squats, 1 hour brisk walk.  I eat a lot when I exercise.

That's exactly what Taubes concluded from his research for Good Calories, Bad Calories.  Exercise does little for weight loss.  It just makes people eat more.  That's not to say that exercise isn't good, though.  It does have many other benefits. Yup
