Thanks, Happy Mother's Day to you too Bobi and all the other mother's out there and especially to my Mom. It's ironic that I have so, so many kids and I'm all alone today, we did celebrate Mother's Day on Friday because of it but it's still weird.

I'm with you Heather.  My Big Kids went gambling over the weekend for their 4th anniversary, and developed car problems.  Still not home.  Oh well, they didn't mean to be gone so long.  Will be home soon.

I rode my bike for 10 miles and it took me 60 minutes exactly.
565-60=505 minutes to go in my personal challenge.
Yup

5/10/09

Happy Mother's Day!

Sunny

I don't have kids but my husband found the cutest mother's day card from a cat, so it came from my kitty.  Heart

Deviled eggs without the whites (I made a ton of my famous deviled eggs for my husband's grandparent's 90th surprise part yesterday. I made some more today for the two of us, but I ate them all, just eating the filling. So I made a batch for work of just the filling)  Devil

New York Strip (out to lunch for mother's day with my family, it came with green beans but I only had a couple)

lobster tail and filet mignon with butter (unbelievable! Two nice sized lobster tails and two nice sized filet mignons in a package for $20 at a local, upscale, grocery store that was a mother's day special! delicious!)

Pork Sausage meat balls (got some fabulous italian seasoned ground pork from the same upscale grocery store, it was really good, like the kind they put on Rocky Rococo's (pizza chain) pizza)

Yum, great eating day!

5/11/09

4 burger patties with salt & pepper

hard boiled egg yolks mushed with some mayo

3 burger patties with bacon & cheese (just 1 slice of cheese and a few slices of bacon, from Culver's, nothing else)

***NOTE: the egg yolks made me feel icky and the cheese on the burger patties made my ears hurt. :( Husband picked up on the way home from the grocery store, forgot to tell him just the burger patties***

I found some "mike's light," it has 4g carbs per bottle so it depends on how many I drink to keep it "low carb." It's all good. Yup

Day 11

Food

chopped liver
tuna salad
lettuce
walnuts
bleu cheese
1/2 an apple
2 tbs dressing (homemade)

Exercise, 50 crunches, 100 push-ups (yes..I DID 100 PUSH-UPS), weight training, 10 mile bike ride, 1 hour walk.

I know I'm not eating what I said i was going to this month, but it feels good...and that is what is important to me.

I am putting my scale in my storage unit....for a bit...in hopes that my obsession with my weight will quiet down.  I think I will try and concentrate on fitness instead.

Jerks, it's much lighter than the cider I kept bumping into.

4g isn't bad.....as long as we limit it to 1 or 2.

5/12

Pemmican (I could live on this stuff!  Sunny )

Breakfast sausages (in the cafeteria at another hospital I work for, I thought they were the nice yummy natural ones like my home base place of work, they were brown n serve. Uck! I ate them, but I was hungrier AFTER I ate them.  Mad

Surf & Turf again (they had it marked down cheap AGAIN)

more pemmican

I found another grocer who will give me fat for free, hooray! It's another smaller upscale grocery store. I was really flirty with the young blond hunk at the counter, lol, maybe that is why.  Devil

He asked me what I was using it for, and I told him pemmican. He actually knew what that was! Wow!  Wow

I bought some more Eye of Round Roast, sliced it up, and put in the dehydrator. I'm so happy that i've got my husband addicted to the beef jerky instead of buying those flavored protein drinks at the store.

I was thinking last night how Pemmican would be an excellent food source to have around during hurricane season, which starts June 1st--here in South Florida..
I'll have to wait until it cools down and windows are open before I start making any pemmican, this year...

yesterday's meals:

Pork roast
wine
bite of almond/pecan encrusted fish
1 jalapeno popper  (homemade)

5/14/09

Today was absolute crap!  Sad

I left for work, feeling like I'd forgotten something!  Confused

I was almost to work and remembered to cook & bring my hamburger patties and pemmican!!!!  Mad

I was starved when I got there so I had 6 breakfast sausages, like I used to get before. They gave me a headache and I couldn't stop sneezing.

For lunch I ran to Culver's (burger place) and got a triple burger with bacon. When I got to work it had cheese all over it. I ate the patties, cheese, and bacon, and my sinuses started hurting really bad.

Ugh.

I had a bunch of pemmican when I got home, feeling better now.

I'm still waiting for it to warm up even a bit! It's freakin cold here!!! I pulled out my ski pants, ski coat and gloves and rode my bike to watch a soccer game across town. Maybe 10 minutes exercise.... My daughter was playing in shorts and t-shirt, I don't know how the kids do it? But she did get a goal! Yup

505-10=495 gosh, I'm running out of time here, I better get moving.

Lynne..I am super competitive and very stubborn.!!

Although I have failed miserably with my riding 50 miles a week on my bike.. I have not touched a drop of alcohol this month..nor shall I...and maybe i am not eating what I had planned..but I have lost weight and inches..so all is good...I have done extremely well with my 100-push ups program, crunches, and weight training..as well as walking...change is good.

Day 21

Egg foo y0ung (home made)
chili
coffee and cream
slice of canteloupe
pemmican (this stuff does get better with age)

Bobi..I am watching y0u watching me. Bonkers
