Day 19

Food

stuffed squash blossoms
roasted chicken with bleu cheese dressing
french filet beans with butter
poached salmon
lettuce salad with dressing
strawberries and whipped cream

Exercise, 20 mile bike ride...and work.

My first meal was about 1300 calories..hehehe..musta had to refuel after all the riding lately.. Grin   Will have a small dinner of poached salmon and a plain lettuce salad with dressing for dinner after work...and some berries and whipped cream I think..

Took a long nap this afternoon..very rare for me..but needed.

I have a chicken brining that I will roast tomorrow.  I made a paste of a head of garlic, 2 lemons and the zest of one, fresh oregano, rosemary and thyme and shallots.  I packed that  under the skin and I'm brining it in a salt bath...should be quite tasty.. Heart

how was that broccoli salad, jeff?

yesterday, i pretended that i was a normal person on this planet and ate normal carbage of ice cream and spaghetti with meat sauce.. no alcohol.

i was sicker than a dog all night long.
up and down, to the toilet, to the baking soda and water...
i was in a bad way..
after eating ZC for so long and then trying to add some carbage to my diet...
my intestines and stomach reacted violently...
so it has come down to this:

either i go back to being a human that eats carbage and suffers the maladies of the civilized world... or i stick to my ZC and forget about eating other types of food...

it has to be one or the other, but not both.

sundays eats were:
beef
coffee w/cream and stevia
limeade
spaghetti w/meat sauce
ice cream  (the real stuff)

saturday's eats were:
beef
coffee w/cream and stevia
limeade

Dearest Lynne...you'll never be "normal"..that is why I love you.. Heart

Hope you feel better soon...maybe next time you could just try some berries or something less harsh than grains and ice cream..

It was ok.  It makes my 78 year old mother happy, and doesn't seem to bother me.  Not something I do an any kind of a regular basis, though.

Sorry to hear about your experience Lynne. Try making your own ice cream using only heavy cream and a touch of stevia. That way you can have it once a year on your birthday and be happy  Yup

Menu: Day 20
pork chop, roast beef, 1/3 chicken breast, 1 egg, 1 slice real havarti, coffee cream

Walked 4 km today

Monday's eats:

One chicken breast grilled with small amount of feta and butter

veal with butter and capers

earl grey iced tea

coffee with heavy cream

Lynne...are you back to normal now? weight gain from the carbage?
I got sick a few days ago with that glass of wine. I am so sensitive to carbs, esp now after not eating them.

It is SO good. Also, just an FYI - you don't have to do a whole chicken, breasts or thighs work great on their own also.

Surfergirl - ironic, I had a serious banana craving battle going on here myself.  Managed to beat it and fed it to my son instead but it was strange.

Eats:

Ribeye
Eggs
Cheese
Shrimp
1lb of bacon  (yeah...you read that right) Wink

food yesterday one T-bone and three rib triangles, don't know what else to call them. The plan was chicken breast but I still don't feel really 100% fit and strong and felt I needed something nice and fatty <g>
Should calculate how much weight I'm eating with those things for there's a lot of bones, cartilage and membranes that I dont eat, then I might have a better idea of my total consumption per day.

they did Nights in White Satin and got a standing ovation!
I had seen them before and paid big bucks......This was Superior!

Add one grilled chicken breast with butter and capers to yesterday's grub

MM....The frozen banana was not worth the stall I have now. So glad to hear you don't give in to temptation. i admire your food list, How's your progress so far? This Month? I'm back on the bus. The perdy fair lights are attractive to me no more. I should be losing again by tomorrow morning.

Surfergirl,

I actually skipped the fair earlier this year because I didn't want to face the alluring smell of funnel cake - haha. I'll be going in October though because my little one is old enough to enjoy it. I'll just have to devour a huge Ribeye first!

My progress is slow, but still going. I'm down about 17 pounds since May - tomorrow is another weigh in. So far, down almost two pounds this month - hoping for another one tomorrow. My insulin was crazy high so I know it's just going to take some time.

The great thing about the bus is no matter how many times you fall off - someone is right there ready to help you back on. I went back and forth so many times before I really committed and now I'm quite settled into this WOE.

That you for helping me find my way back on.(the fair lights were blinding me) I am so proud of your results and you are an inspiration to me.
My beloved boyfriend wants to go back to the fair for rides ( and eat a bunch of that fair gourmet popcorn) I will definitely devour a rib eye before hand because the meat at the fair doesn't taste satisfying to me. they put spices and junk on it, and who knows what.

Yikes - Ran out of Ribeye! I managed to survive  Grin

Chuck Steak (found this buried in the freezer - still yummy)
Bacon
Bear's Chicken

Back to the butcher tomorrow. I wonder what he thinks of this overweight woman who comes every other week and buys a nearly 20lb slab of Ribeye and then insists it not be trimmed of any fat during packaging.

Gives him something to talk about I guess

great Katie!! My scale is acting weird, it's as if I'm a few pounds lighter and then it settles on the proper wieght. Would I finally be learning how to float on air <g>?
Food yesterday was - I think - one T-bone,, one rib triangle and one piece of pork belly.

Food today was 1 T bone and another piece of pork belly - I had still ahd some in the freezer. I ill probably have some sausage later tonight, but for the rest I'll just plod on!

i just realized that i haven't posted since monday.
i have been binging on sugar.
it's been easy peasy.
i keep eating my meat, trying to get away from the desire, but then candy appears in the house and BAM!
i'm right back where i started, only with more calories.

beef, coffee w/cream & stevia, limeade, hot sauce,
candy, chocolate, guava, cheese.

boy, i fell hard.
trying to get back on the horse.
and then The Boy brings me a box of good n plenty.

I definitely got the Freudian concept there. And it looked funny.
