Well, if eating a frozen banana is like eating a peach... I'll have one of each. _________________ When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.

hmmmmm, i wonder how banana and peanut butter would taste on an ooopsie roll....
that would be an indulgence.
i went 24 hours without going after anything sweet.
i think my body is rebuilding, healing, forgiving me.
i had a good 24 hours of being on target.
whew..
i swear sugar is as bad if not worse than heroin.
once the body tastes sugar, it wants nothing to do with real food.
it can subsist on sugar for hours.
but the crash is mighty.
seriously.... i think nightline did something about this last night.
(check out this video- Hooked on Food) http://abcnews.go.com/Nightline/
and their doing something tonight on binge eating...
this is after the late night ABC news.. _________________ "Failure is an opportunity to start again more intelligently." |

It's 108 in Oregon today and was 106 yesterday. They are sending road crews home and businesses are shutting down for the day..
Food
cold chuck steak
cold ratatouille with turkey sausage
cold boiled eggs
iced coffee with cream
boat loads of herbal iced tea and water
Exercise..30 mile ride, 100 push-ups, weight training. I was out of the house and on the bike path at 7 am..otherwise it would have been too hot..it was 80 something then...
Thank god I cooked off a bunch of steak for a few days..and some cold boiled eggs...and have some precooked burger patties in the freezer..and cans of tuna and salmon....there is NO WAY I am turning my stove or oven on for days..this is INSANE!! _________________ Flap-a-doodle-kick-a-poodle-kitty-kitty-cow-cow ~ Fat Freddy's Cat |

sorry, forgot to post here, too busy with work and other stuff
food has been ribeye or prime rib mid morning and pork ribs for dinner. Had a sausage on Tuesday and one yesterday. They are made by the butcher himself, with only salt and pepper, and dried. They are ice, but I notice I get cravings when I eat them so I keep them to a minimum, I use the more or less as a replacement for pemmican, for I can't get that here and don't really feel like making it.
I have one left but will throw that in the freezer.
scale had indeed gone down this month, I'm very happy to say, but I weigh on the 7th officially so then you will hear what's happened! _________________ Willeke |

July:)
yesterday;
eggs and ground sausage with butter
coffee with hwc
strip steak with left over homemade cream of mushroom soup on top
Mikey D's iced coffee with no sugar
2 ounces of chicken thigh
Dandelion Tea
Today: (relatives got here, I sure i went over on carbs today)
coffee with hwc
pork carnitas that i made in the slow cooker with broth, orange peel, corriander, ancho chile and oregano, oh and onions.
I dumped it in a bowl over some pork skins and then topped it with cheese and some fresh cilantro and green onions.
then later I had some fried queso fresco
coffee with hwc
The onions and cilantro got me, but hopefully not too bad. |

Yesterday was.......
coffee
HWC
chicken and cheese omlette
a pound of raw beef
chicken salad
The beef was something I picked up at the store on the way to work. The package was labeled "beef stew". Just little chunks of bite sized meat. It was pretty well marbled. I just ate it raw on the way to work. _________________ Eat, Drink and Be Merry, For Tomorrow We'll Die |

Day 31..
Food
poppers
boiled egg
chuck steak
salmon patties with gorgonzola sauce
french filet beans with butter
Exercise, 20 mile ride,100 push-ups, weight training, 6 hour work shift...oh yeah...
Well..here is my end of the month summary..
July stats...(daily averages)
Calories 1,541
Fat 114.4 gr, 66%
Carbs 23.1, 6%
Protein 102.2, 28%
I rode my bike 320 miles this month, and consistantly lifted weights 3 days a week, went up to 25# dumb bells, and did 100 pushups 3 days a week as well, and I lost weight. (at least 3 pounds..maybe more) I need to wait a few days to see if the scale is lying or not...so for now let's just say I am still 195.
I screwed up a few times with alcohol and a burrito..but my fitness level has been extremely high..I feel really good physically. I definitely see that I am not eating a large amount of calories..but the protein/fat ratios are good. I do not feel deprived. Small amounts of carbs seem to be fine for me.
Got my morning ride in already..and will ride again tomorrow. That will make this weeks ride miles 135!! Not bad for a fat chick!! _________________ Flap-a-doodle-kick-a-poodle-kitty-kitty-cow-cow ~ Fat Freddy's Cat |
