Prime Rib leftover from last night (I sliced it thin, put in it's juice, and hit the defrost button a few times in the microwave until barely warm, delicious!)

4 egg yolks

5 pieces of bacon

My parents came out, and I hate eating in restaurants, so I suggested chinese food delivery. I got the entree with the most meat. It was just the meat and veggies. I picked out the meat and ate it, no sauce or anything. Pretty good.

I might have the other half of the ribeye from yesterday morning still tonight, i'm a little hungry.

Oh, and black coffee and water.

Soo.... peel my skin it is! Devil

In a fat burning mode....weighed in at 176.0 this morning. a couple more lbs. to go (according to Fitday) to get out of obese category at 5ft 4 in!
So, maybe that extra skin is the kicker.
Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone. This was birthday food: Day 23:

Brisket
chicken with homemade berre blanc (vinegar-butter sauce)
coffee/hc
tea
1.3 carbs all day....skipped lunch to go to a "the secret" vision board making class. Now that was so enjoyable! I loved it! Heart

Menu: eggs, ground pork, large steak, coffee, cream

What is it with beef. I eat a huge steak and I'm hungry. I don't think beef and I go together. I'm going to have to fry up some eggs, maybe with feta.

Day 24

Food

chicken
salmon with gorgonzola sauce
strawberries
grape tomatoes
walnut fruit tart
really HOT poppers
iced coffee with half and half

Exercise, weight training, 100 push-ups.  I needed a day off from bike riding...and my kitty needed extra snuggling this morning so she wouldn't let me get out of bed..I am sticking with that story.

Yup..185 pounds..first time in about 15 years.

morning jeff... it was that green stuff in a bowl at the Brazilian steakhouse that people were dipping their meat in before eating...

it's made with green bell pepper, cilantro, garlic, green onions, all minced together and wet with olive oil and a little vinegar..
it's a meat dipping sauce.

you going to any of the meat ups in the near future?

No, not going to any of the meatups in the near future.  I'd love to, but major travel is out of the question for the immediate future.   I'm saving for a trip in February.  I'll probably do Chicago again next summer, though.

beef (2 meals)
1 tsp sofrito

sea salt

i have been drinking a pot of decaf coffee daily,  w/cream and stevia for about a month now, and I can tell you all that it never affected my weight. I've still been consistently dropping.  coffee has no effect on me.

running dog,  have you been eating raw meat very long?
i'm ready to try it, but no one's pushed me off the boat!
i still haven't been able to put it in my mouth..

but i've been reading Carlos's journal over at ZIOH and he was comparing it to unsweetened watermelon.
i'm going to try it, one of these days.

any suggestions?  just jump in? or start with small portions?

thanks.

I eat raw meat for years.

I don't really think it's healthier or better. I'm not even convinced that it's easier to digest. I just sometimes feel like eating raw meat.

For me beef tastes like beef.  Wink

Sometimes I just cut it into small cubes or strips and just swallow so I don't feel that much taste but it's nice eating experience. Hard to explain but you don't eat raw meat for a taste.

Maybe try home made steak tartare. Good for a start.

But I think the best way to make yourself eat raw meat or any other food you think you dislike :

make yourself really hungry like going one day or more without food, place some raw beef on your plate, nothing else. Enjoy the tastiest meal you've had in a while.

thanks running dog for you reply.
it dawned on me that a friend made me steak tartare back in the 80's and i had no problem eating it.
had carpacchio last december and enjoyed it.

i'm going to do just that... slice up some meat and eat it when starved.
thanks again. Grin

Surfergirl - you are doing awesome!

I just peeked at your fitday - those numbers aren't accurate are they?  I realize you are significantly smaller than me but holy crap - you'd have to be starving  at those levels wouldn't you? It says on Tuesday you ate 351 calories - a cup of ground beef and a coffee w/cream? Tell me you're just forgetting to add stuff - don't make me worry about you Wow

Hi MM! I love my Fitday! Please don't worry. I didn't want to tell you I had Botox shots in my neck that day for some pesky muscle pain and ate only once. I would have loved to eat more than that, but didn't cook when I got home.  I have MORE than made up for it! I even forgot to report it on here that day. I have a nice big yummy Corned Beef slow cooking and waiting for me when I get home.  Devil
I know you are doing great! I can't wait for your weigh in!
Thanks for checking on me.

Cry I wanna see the neked photos of hot men too.
yOu, my fitday says I'm 30.21 on the BMI, so does that mean .21 of a pound before I'm out of the obesity woods? I was hoping this would be the morning it dipped below! Livid but perhaps tomorrow is the day! I only have 4 days before the month is up, and I have to get below the mark!

Ham, havarti cheese, wild salmon fillets fried in LOTSA butter, coffee, cream

Forgot my lunch at home today but walked over to the supermarket deli and had them slice up some ham and cheese for me. Thank god for a supermarket within walkings distance of work. I suppose I could have done the 24 hour fast but I didn't want to  Grin

Sure, go for 150!  That is awesome.  If you need some more nipple pictures, just let me know.  LOL

I wonder what kind of picture she needs to make her go for 200.

Actually it was your 150 last week that made me feel competative..but any photos of naked men are welcome...  Grin  Grin   ok hot naked men..

Surfergirl...you are doing great!! Keep up the good work..how many pounds until unobese?  Or are you already there?

Cry I wanna see the neked photos of hot men too.
yOu, my fitday says I'm 30.21 on the BMI, so does that mean .21 of a pound before I'm out of the obesity woods? I was hoping this would be the morning it dipped below! Livid but perhaps tomorrow is the day! I only have 4 days before the month is up, and I have to get below the mark!

Nope..doesn't work like that.  You need to be under 30..so for your height you need to weigh 174 to be unobese....And under 25 to be "normal"

Day 27

Drank vodka last night..didn't eat dinner..not hungry today..slept in until 2:30.

Will eat tonight before going out to shoot pool.

Food
Salmon with gorgonzola sauce
3 lemons
iced coffee with half and half

Exercise..hungover bike ride, 20 miles....as soon as I motivate myself..

which hasn't happened yet..it's 95 degrees out...

I am so sick of salmon right now..need to finish about 8 more oz of this one and it's gone..still have 4 whole ones in the freezer.  Will eat steak for a few days I think...have Chuck and NY steaks in the frig..and eggs.
