Yesterday was a sucky day for me... my sink pipes were completely closed from grease!!! i had to hire a plumber to come over and get the grease out of my pipes!!!
after the plumber left, all i wanted was a pitcher of ice cold beer.. seriously wanted a pitcher.... i had planned to guzzle it..
jumped in the car and headed out.. but my car didn't go to the little joint around the corner.. instead i went to the market and bought more decaf coffee!!! how about that?? somehow my brain argued with me and it won.... so no beer yesterday!
son said he doesn't like the brisket i made this week, so i ended up eating his breakfast..
it was brisket heated in butter, wooster sauce and hot sauce..
a little salty..
so todays meals:
2 meals, brisket
one with all the wooster and butter...
decaf coffee w/hwc & stevia.
and no beer today!! _________________ "Failure is an opportunity to start again more intelligently." |

Today: eggs, bacon, chicken, butter, coconut oil, coffee, cream
Boring I know but I enjoy my food nonetheless.
Bought the new Drs. Eades' book. 1/2 the book is recipes which ticked me off a bit but I'll see if there is any substance in the other 1/2. _________________ Carnivore (Jun 12/09) 227/196.2/137 Max. wt: 247 (Jul-08)

Yesterday's food: cheese, coffee HC & splenda, diet soda, leftover pork tenderloin, broccoli, handful of raspberries
Today's food: peanut butter, cheese, chicken lunch meat, mayo, more leftover pork, hopefully there is still some broccoli in the freezer, otherwise more pork.
I've been really hungry for eggs, but I'm out, and I'm avoiding the grocery store like the plague until I get these cravings under control. I think I may have to pick some up tomorrow. _________________ Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to loose - Recorded by Janis Joplin |

I am a big fan of eggs...I often eat 4 of them for breakfast..with nice greasy pork sausage....MmMmMMmM...pork grease...
Karen..maybe you should just bring enough money to the store for the eggs...
I have been craving all sorts of things..but I am about to bleed. I dream about licking the frosting off of donuts..french crullers to be exact. ..I had to price all the bakery items at work this morning..cakes and pies and donuts..boston cream pie..black forest cake..cookies..I don't usually even like that sort of crap...but it smelled enticing...then I looked at the people that were buying them...and was repulsed...they had no teeth and horrid skin..and were extremely obese...I think I made the right decision...and just enjoyed one of my walnut fruit tarts this evening instead...along with a very thick juicy steak.
It's beddy bye time.... _________________ Flap-a-doodle-kick-a-poodle-kitty-kitty-cow-cow ~ Fat Freddy's Cat |

This is words to live by. I had been fighting a craving when I saw a beautiful Multi layer "death by chocolate" carb cake at a meeting. The people were eating it like animals. Ugly people. Obese People. I resisted but the craving stayed until I ate a tablespoon of butter mixed with a quarter tablespoon of cocoa powder yesterday. Now the craving is gone, and I will tell you that Butter/cocoa tasted better than that dry cake would have anyway!
Food day 18:
leftover Bear's Chicken
meatballs
roast beef
Food Day 19: First day Rosh Hashana
Gilfelte fish
Smoked Salmon-ate light at the temple, ate lots of lamb at home.
1tbls. butter mixed with 1/4 tbls. organic cocoa powder
Roasted lamb
* Notice No Wine or Bread eaten as I usually do on holidays.Yay. _________________ http://www.fitday.com/fitness/Pub...urnals.html?Owner=surfergirlpuppy

Wow, it's a small world! Thanks Lynn! Thanks and I will talk to you if I need too! Would you believe I'm such the celebrity over there that my journal/eating is all the talk? How wonderful! It's good to be famous, even if for 15 mins! _________________ http://www.fitday.com/fitness/Pub...urnals.html?Owner=surfergirlpuppy

i just find it so ridiculous that that forum isn't big enough for everyone... why oh why must there be so much caddiness?
that's why i left.... i just couldn't take the caddy meanness..
we have our little thing over at Active Low Carb forum......
we have our little thing over here... and we all respect one another.. and that's what it's all about...
surfergirl... it is your journal and you can write anything you want in it... they really should leave you alone unless you ask for their assistance..
right?
this is OUR safe haven... _________________ "Failure is an opportunity to start again more intelligently." |

Day 20
Food
chicken
olives
steak
string cheese
walnut fruit tart
tomato from the garden
1/2 serving "lasagna"
Ate a bigger dinner last night in hopes of not snacking at work or after work..which is when it really seems to be a problem...didn't really work..ate cheese and olives for snacks.
Exercise, work, 60 crunches, push-ups, 20 mile bike ride after work..(I really did NOT want to go on a ride but I did it anyway)...and y0u know what?...I feel SO MUCH BETTER!
181 this morning...not sure if that will stay or not..I've been sorta eating a lot...but who knows... _________________ Flap-a-doodle-kick-a-poodle-kitty-kitty-cow-cow ~ Fat Freddy's Cat |
