Day 21
Food
chicken
garden tomatoes
the rest of the "lasagna"
string cheese
olives
pizza (gluten flour crust)
1 slice september 7th cake (yep..the real kind)
Exercise...10 crunches just to say I exercised.
I am ill with a fever and a sore throat... and I ate sugar filled chocolate whipped cream cake and pizza...now I feel more ill...but don't really give a sh*t...thinking about some wine to wash it all down as well...who knows?
Jeff..tis better to have things stuck to your arse than things up your arse...well...in your case anyway.
and now for the entertainment section...........
Whoring for cake
Chocolate and whipped cream mounds galore
turn me right into a whore..
I'll whore for you my sweet slice of cake
until the day they have my wake...
I wake each day and think of y0u
and all the things y0u make me do..
like salivate and quiver and shake
like a screaming orgasm...my sweet sweet cake...
I languish days I had control
of what I put in my cake hole..
but now it seems that I have none
this old whore is spent and done.... _________________ Flap-a-doodle-kick-a-poodle-kitty-kitty-cow-cow ~ Fat Freddy's Cat |

Salmon, headcheese, pork chops, coconut oil, butter, coffee, cream
I am finding it difficult to find pork rinds (baconets) here. Went to Safeway yesterday and was told that Safeway has a blanket policy now where they no longer carry them.
Now, when you see those rows of bagged snacks, millions of bags of snacks, all with 12,000 grams of carbs in them without fail, whether baked, fried, dried, whatever. Then there are pork rinds which contain pork skin, lard and salt, 0 carbs, and they are banned because they contain fat, like those others don't.
I bought a large bag of pork rinds at the corner store 2 days ago and haven't opened them. Having them available whenever I want them is great. Doesn't mean I have to eat them. _________________ Carnivore (Jun 12/09) 227/196.2/137 Max. wt: 247 (Jul-08)

Kateryna..can you special order them by the case at a local store? Safeway might even do it for you if their distributors carry them...which I am sure they do. _________________ Flap-a-doodle-kick-a-poodle-kitty-kitty-cow-cow ~ Fat Freddy's Cat |

Thanks for the tip yOu but I think I'm going to ban Safeway. There is another large supermarket here called Sobey's. They still carry them
But it's the mentality I'm talking about here. It's like we are completely and totally going insane here. More sugar, more starch, more carbs. Let's eat 100% carbs. Down with any food that contains fat. It's scarey. It's not like they've been breeding all the fat out of all meat. How far will they take this? _________________ Carnivore (Jun 12/09) 227/196.2/137 Max. wt: 247 (Jul-08)

Actually they have been doing that with pork..for many years.
But if you feel the need to start to ban stores for not carrying fatty foods..be my guest..but you won't end up with many places to shop. Grocery stores don't carry what is good for you..they carry what sells...after all..they are a business.
How about making your own pork rinds? far less salt and processed crap in it. The store I work at sells pig skin you can fry up yourself...do you have any Hispanic markets available to you? _________________ Flap-a-doodle-kick-a-poodle-kitty-kitty-cow-cow ~ Fat Freddy's Cat |

On the pork rinds: Kate, this is not happening in the south- haha! They are not afraid of fat down here and pork rinds are plenty!! However, if you can get your hands on some pork skin I highly recommend making your own. I have not been able to find any yet though I desperately want to try making my own. I did however find some homemade ones at a flea market the other day and they were absolutely incredible...a big difference from store bought! |

I wanted to ban Safeway anyway. They are so overpriced that I can get stuff cheaper at my corner convenience store than I can there, so I've been working up to this. And their meat isn't as good.
Next time at the Chinese Superstore, I'll see if they have pig skin. I don't think I have the tools to make rinds at home and I'm lazy. The apartment sized kitchen, stove and fridge drive me nuts. Not conducive to wanting to cook. However, now that I'm carnivore the fridge seems monstrously big. There's lots of room in there. And the cupboards seem bigger too _________________ Carnivore (Jun 12/09) 227/196.2/137 Max. wt: 247 (Jul-08)

Katreyna..that's funny...I was noticing that I have a lot of room in my frig since I stopped eating packaged foods....and the only thing in my cupboard besides canned tuna and salmon is home canned goods.
Good luck on your quest for pig skin... _________________ Flap-a-doodle-kick-a-poodle-kitty-kitty-cow-cow ~ Fat Freddy's Cat |

If I need to bake the pig skin then it's not possible. My oven is so small I can't get a regular sized cookie sheet in there and I'm not going to do really small batches because of the time wasted. _________________ Carnivore (Jun 12/09) 227/196.2/137 Max. wt: 247 (Jul-08)

I live in an apartment. _________________ Carnivore (Jun 12/09) 227/196.2/137 Max. wt: 247 (Jul-08)
