Now that the heat is here I am switching to running in the am and breaking it up to 3-4 miles 3 days a week. Still lift and do martial arts as well. Hope everyone is doing ok!

I am back

Had a busy summer. I have lost a total of 40 lbs and feel great. I do a low carb diet all week and 24-36 hour "cheat day" and its seems to work well with me.

Good, I mix it up now running 20-25 minutes then doing some sprint work or I will do a 5k once a week or so.

My son who is 10 is running with me now as well Happy

40 lbs lost is a big deal, way to go!

The problem I have with a cheat day is that it lasts 2-4 weeks... And I have a problem with feeling disgust and guilt that I ate something I shouldn't have. Different foods have varying degrees of disgust and guilt associated. Roll Eyes

Never mind... LOL

Sounds like you had a great summer. Yup

Do you need to lose more weight?

Hey Rich, I've got some running info that may interest you and others. There is alot more than what I'll post here, but the basic thing is that most people do not run correctly and that most injuries are the result of improper form. The shoe manufacturers don't help matters. Running shoes with thick, cushy heals only promote improper form.

I'll be posting more soon in the appropriate section of the Bus. It really is great stuff!! Wink

Don't worry, we're cool and we are our own toughest critics. I have been through the posting picture anxiety, in my experience, I feel the pictures don't accurately represent the way I look. I see something different in the mirror than I see in pictures. I don't get it... (Maybe I am crazy... Don't tell anyone!) I am thinking about posting a new picture of myself to track the/any changes.

Yep, around the middle. I am doing almost 0 carb and cut ou the cheat days as that was going in the wrong direction.
