I was thinking a shot or two of something good would help but I think that's what got me in this mess. I was just searching the internet to find out what I was drinking that night. Something in a crystal skull, something in a red gun shaped bottle, cabo wabo, patron, remy martin xiii, glen fiddich, cointreau, kinda gets blurry at this point. Liquor tasting = liquor mixing = too many shots = feeling no pain = sore toe. |
You tasted all those things? I'm surprised your whole body isn't black and blue! _________________ Eat, Drink and Be Merry, For Tomorrow We'll Die |

Only tasting with tablespoons, I thought that would be safer. Silly me.....
And I do have a few extra bruises.
Never again, I learned my lesson. _________________

See? I knew it!
"Tastings" do seem to have that effect, though. I have not quite figured that out. I have been to wine tastings where you only get one or two ounces of each wine. The equivalent of 2 or 3 glasses seems to have the effect of 2 or 3 bottles. _________________ Eat, Drink and Be Merry, For Tomorrow We'll Die |

Hmmmm, interesting. You have that experience too. What's up with that?
I have to run little H to the doctor so I will be in the big city all day but I do have yim on my phone if anyone's so inclined to keep from being bored to death. _________________

Apparently little H has pneumonia..... We had x rays done because she had so much pain in her right shoulder. I wasn't expecting to hear pneumonia.
And my toe is almost better, the tip past the last joint is still sore and tingly, but everything else is good. I am back in heels!
I took a picture of myself today to compare before and during. _________________

I just checked fitday and I have been losing steady since September 1, 2008. Eight months have passed and have continued to lose very slowly. I update fitday every time I reach a new, lower kg.
I put that BEP's song on my ipod and after I left the house realized it was skipping at the end. How the heck do I get it to skip? I'm hoping it has something to do with mp3 to m4a transfer....
Stress and anxiety to the max but have a huge burst of energy today. Let's hope it sticks around. _________________

Steady losses are like a double edged sword, I'm wondering when it will stop. I hit 59 kg on Friday.... All of my "skinny" clothes are super-duper huge on me. It's an interesting situation to be in. _________________

I am doing much better now emotionally. I had to let go of a lot. Move on!
I finished my bike race yesterday, it was awesome fun and beautiful weather. My kids met me half way, which is the town I live in, to cheer, gotta love that.
My weight is still hovering around 133, eating zero carb but probably drinking more carbs than I eat....
I must get going to work, I'll catch up with you all later.
Luv ya! _________________

Thank you! It was easier than I thought it would be and at the check points they serve sandwiches, chips, trail mix, all sorts of carbs. I didn't touch any anyways but the thought of eating during the race was making me gag. I ate beef jerky before I started and lots of water during. I wasn't hungry the rest of the day either. Any no muscle stiffness at all.
Training for my half marathon is going well, I am beating all sorts of my times. Every time I run it faster and faster. I just need to work on some distance now. Race is in 2.5 weeks (19 days)....
x is still hanging in, in case anyone was curious. I won't be getting more updates. I need to wash my hands of that poisonous, toxic family. Just saying....
I now have two ladies following my diet with me. I'm just leading by example and how even when I'm thin I keep my diet. And I have no issues eating publicly or explaining lately, much more confident in that respect. It's only been how many years to get to this point though?????
Which reminds me, my mom tells me I better add back some carbs or my muscles will waste away.
Gotta get to work, talk to you soon. _________________

Hiya Heather..good job on the bike race..how far was it?
I'm always amazed at what they have at the pit stops..I did the MS150 one year with a diabetic friend..and they ran out of water at one pit stop and only had sugar filled gatorade..she made them go buy water for her.
It's cool you have friends that are eating the way you do...take care.. _________________ Flap-a-doodle-kick-a-poodle-kitty-kitty-cow-cow ~ Fat Freddy's Cat |

Heather my brother is a cyclist and I have a bike sitting in the sidelines ready for me once I lose some more weight and gain enough confidence in my balance. My stroke affected my balance and I need a stepstool to get on my bike that's on a stand in my living room. Hopefully by next summer I'll get the bike out of the house and onto the street. That's what I'm aiming for.
What race are you training for? Is it in Edmonton? _________________ Carnivore (Jun 12/09) 227/196.2/137 Max. wt: 247 (Jul-08)

You should have seen all the carbage that was waiting for me at the finish line in Chicago. Cytomax, bananas, oranges, candy bars, popsicles, potato chips, cookies. Oh, and water. They did have wet, ice cold towels, which were nice.
I ran the race about 12 hours after dinner the night before. No food before the race, and didn't have anything until about 1 in the afternoon, which was about 4-5 hours after the race ended. _________________ Eat, Drink and Be Merry, For Tomorrow We'll Die |

Congrats again on the race! I watched the video that (moxiecat?) posted. Very cool. I have no idea what Cytomax is, but it must be pretty nasty.
The ice cold wet towels sound really refreshing. Even today (it's 100% humidity and 90F in my region right now. Our weatherman said between all the humidity and the heat, the "cow barn at the Wisconsin State Fair is going to be pretty ripe!" |

The ice cold wet towels sound really refreshing. Even today (it's 100% humidity and 90F in my region right now. Our weatherman said between all the humidity and the heat, the "cow barn at the Wisconsin State Fair is going to be pretty ripe!" |
Of course I didn't have any, but I think Cytomax is a Gatorade type drink.
Yeah, this heat and humidity is nasty. I would not want to be checking out the cows at the State Fair this weekend! _________________ Eat, Drink and Be Merry, For Tomorrow We'll Die |

I'll do a quick fly by, I really have to get going now.
Internet was down for a while, magically reappeared....
I hurt my foot bad the Wednesday before the half, no kidding. I haven't been injured for a loooooong time so I was quite disappointed. My foot still hurts but I'm thinking I'll make up for it in September.
Weight was into 120's for a bit but now I'm back to low 130's.
Diet's good.
I'm sure there are a million other things going on but I really have to go, I'll catch you all later.

Glad to hear your weight is back up a bit.
Did you ever think you'd hear those words?
