The Magic Bus Trip

So I received this flier in the mail last year and again this year for an organization called Team in Training for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. There's going to be an Omaha Marathon & Half-Marathon: Run/walk on September 23. The informational meeting is on Saturday May 12th. I've been debating on whether to participate, whether I can get into good enough shape to finish, whether I'll have enough time to devote to it, that kind of thing. So Dean suggested that I start a challenge for myself until the informational meeting to see if I can feel like I can do it. So here I am!

So my goal, is to work out on a daily basis (a day taken off only to rest my muscles if necessary), doing at least some kind of work out, whether walking, biking or strength training. The only times I can workout is in the morning before work, during my split shift in the middle of the afternoon after my daughter's school gets out, and after I get home from work at 7:45pm.

So I kind of started yesterday with a walk and then a bike ride. This morning I'm going to do some strength training for my upper and lower half. Now I'm off!!

Sooooo, we walked around the zoo for 4 hrs Saturday and biked this morning around 3 miles.
