Here's a great lecture by Gary Taubes about obesity. It's quite long. If you're pressed for time, I'd suggest jumping ahead to about the 45 minute mark. The whole thing is really quite good, though.

It's worth the watch. I think his Berkley speech was a little better, but I liked it.

Thanks Jeff for posting the video, I actually think it's better than Berkley speech. It's more focused and to the point
